The touch screen only works with fingers so you cant accidently move icons
My friend have a HTC HERO and its not lagging so i confirm

Is there a “home screen lock”? So you don’t accidentally move icon/widgets around, delete, or add things inadvertently?
Also I’ve also read that the “lag” issues have been “mostly” fixed by the firmware update HTC put out a few months ago…can anyone confirm or deny?

what is your hurry that you can’t stand the 1 sec delay. unless you’re bill gates or buffett, the delay isn’t going to mean anything to most people

The iPhone is only that popular because of the first generation was great, as you can see even a very cheap phone like HTC Tatoo
Is more customizeable.
Too bad, iPhone sucks.
If you cant live whit out the app store, get an iPod touch.

Then 1) you’ve never had a real smartphone or you use a real one alongside your iPhone, 2) you’re most likely young (teenager, early 20s) and a poser, 3) don’t understand the concept behind Android OS or what open sourced means, & 4) you probably are one of those iPhone users who download meaningless apps or mostly “lite” versions.
