I think Depends what do you mean that Apple is “older”. Yes Apple was founded earlier then Microsoft. Apple did have an operating system that used graphical window handling before windows dreamt of DOS in 3d. Microsoft Office was first released for Mac OS in 1989, then 1990 for Windows. If this not, I do presume wikipedia will answer your question
