I think … and to think that this touch-screen computers were used in sci-fi films. The “future” is closer than you think! In fact, we’re technically more advanced than the Jetsons XD

theyre not bragging about having touchscreen, theyre bragging about making it nicer and easier to use. even windows xp could be made to use touchscreen but it wasnt that easy. put it this way, mac brags about being able to burn dvds and cds, also brags about email and webcam. and some peopel thought THIS was behind. hell pc bragged about dvd burning in 2002, cd burning in 1998 and email in 1996

Oh I totally forgot about the EeeTop! Thanks for reminding me!
I was thinking of the EeeBox for it’s slim design but I forgot that Asus made an All-in-One.

Where do you get the idea that Microsoft has anything to do with the system? Microsoft has nothing to do with the hardware, they have developed gesture based multi touch integration into their OS and software. Of course it’s not going to replace the keyboard and mouse on a desktop PC, that’s not it’s intention. But pc’s have a growing functionality besides the desktop, with things like tablets, Kiosks and media centres, touchscreen offers a far more practical solution.

Apple is smarter than Microsoft. Any of you think your arm would get tired reaching up to your screen and smudging it repeatedly to do what you could have done with a two finger swipe on Apple’s new Magic Mouse or on a laptop trackpad? Apple could easily put touch into a screen like this, if it made sense, but it doesn’t.
Apple will have a touch screen computer with multi-touch gestures built into it, but it will be on the tablet, iPhone and iPod Touch, where it belongs, where it makes sense.
